Spirit of Sydney Lunch – Liesel Tesch Paralympian

The Spirit of Sydney Volunteers Group recently held another successful lunch at Sydney’s Darling Harbour on board the historic South Steyne ferry.

We were privileged to host Australian Paralympian Liesel Tesch AM who has represented Australia in Basketball and Sailing at six consecutive Paralympic Games.

Liesel spoke of her triumphs and struggles she experienced on her way to Bronze, Silver (Basketball) and Gold (Sailing) medals at the games.

After an excellent lunch served by the friendly staff on board the South Steyne Ferry Function Centre, the Spirit of Sydney Group assembled for a team photo with Liesel who happened to be celebrating her birthday the same day. Congratulations Liesel and HAPPY BIRTHDAY !
